Managing Product Variants
How to set up size, color, and other product variants with individual pricing and stock.
Managing Product Variants
Product variants let you offer different options (like sizes and colors) for a single product, each with its own price and stock level.
Creating Variants
- When editing a product, scroll to the "Variants" section.
- Click "Add Variant" to create a new option.
- Enter the variant name (e.g., "Large", "Blue", "32GB").
- Set the price for this variant (can be different from the base price).
- Set the stock quantity for this specific variant.
- Add more variants as needed and save.
Best Practices
- Use clear, consistent naming (e.g., "Small", "Medium", "Large" — not "S", "Med", "Lrg").
- Keep stock levels accurate to avoid overselling.
- If a variant is out of stock, set its quantity to 0 rather than deleting it.
Note: When a buyer selects a variant, the price and stock shown will update automatically on the product page.
